Joe McGranaghan as
Joe McGranaghan plays JOHN BELSON. The enterprising founder of the tech startup, John took his lottery winnings and left the struggling company to set up shop in Silicon Valley. But he‘s had an extremely bad run of luck, resulting in the complete loss of his fortune. Now he‘s back in Sarasota with his mail order bride, worried about his future and bemoaning his past.
JOSEPH MCGRANAGHAN, MFA2013 FSU/Asolo Conservatory
From Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Joseph majored in Theatre and Philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh. In New York he worked with CITI Company on student films for the City College of New York and NYU film departments. Regionally, Joseph has worked with Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre, Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre, The Tennessee Stage Company, The Chamber Theatre of Boston, and Quantum Theatre, as well as five seasons with Bakerloo Theatre Project. Joseph was featured in the Ringling College spec commercial Obsession by Joselyn Marie Hernandez.
Jesse Dornan as
Jesse Dornan plays SIMON TROY. Simon was the first to be recruited for the startup formed by John while still at MIT. A genius, but with a mind that is constantly distracted, Simon came to resent John‘s handling of him. After marrying John‘s former girlfriend, Darla—mostly for convenience, he fakes his own death so he escape all distractions and concentrate on high-end cyber intelligence work he had begun at the startup. But now he‘s seriously questioning that grave decision.
JESSE DORNAN, 2013 MFA FSU/Asolo Conservatory
From Salt Lake City, Utah, Jesse has worked locally and regionally. Sarasota theatre credits include: 1776, Clybourne Park, You Can’t Take it With You at Asolo Repertory Theatre; Jericho and Brilliance at Florida Studio Theatre; Becky’s New Car and Crimes of the Heart at The Banyan; The Brothers Karamazov, Cloud 9, & The Robbers at the FSU/Asolo Conservatory. Recent credits with RCAD: Never Too Late – by Arash Zandi, The “It” Guy – by Evan Mattson , and Sea Salt – byAJ Smithingell.
Jacob Cooper as
Jacob Cooper plays NORM MCKENNA, another MIT alum John brought into the startup to create the highest level of cyber security ever designed to protect the sensitive work of Simon and John. Highly paranoid, Norm insisted on keeping his participation in the lottery a secret. But almost immediately, he started detecting unexplainable activity on his instruments. At first he thought it might be the CIA, or a foreign government, but lately he started thinking it might be the supernatural. When his instruments start picking up someone that looks like Simon, he‘s convinced—ghosts.
JACOB COOPER , 2013 MFA FSU/Asolo Conservatory
At the FSU/Asolo Conservatory, Jacob has been featured in over fifteen productions. Favorite roles at the Conservatory include Alyosha in The Brothers Karamazov, and Bill in Lobby Hero. Ringling College productions: Never Too Late—by Arash Zandi, and The Encounter— by JC Gold. Additional film credits include Ghosted, a UGA Campus Movie Fest Finalist, and We Are Marshall, a Warner Bros. Picture.
Andrea Adnoff as
Andrea Adnoff plays DARLA TROY, a social climber that landed a receptionist job because of her romantic relationship with John. She moved onto Simon when she realized he was actually the brains behind the company. After less than a week with the company, she finds herself a lottery jackpot winner and with her share of the prize buys the fledgling startup from John. She proposes marriage to Simon, but cannot get him to stick with the company. Instead, he enlists her help in his disappearance. But, now that he‘s ―dead,‖ she discovers her love is real—and emotion that she that she was incapable of having.
ANDREA ADNOFF, MFA 2015 FSU/Asolo Conservatory
Originally from Newport Beach, CA, Andrea is currently studying acting at the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for actor training. She is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University, where she produced non-profit theatre providing the only arts related afterschool program in the Azusa district.
Brendan Ragan as
When Simon refused to help Darla in running the company, she hands it off to her ne‘er-do-well little brother BRANDON, played by Brendan Ragan. Brandon is as arrogant as he is incompetent. But who cares because what John and Simon had brewing started to take off immediately after winning the jackpot. With the company‘s net now edging toward a billion dollars, it‘s been Brandon‘s pleasure to take all the credit—if not nearly all the money. When John‘s hot Russian bride catches his eye, he‘s ready to snag her as well.
BRENDAN RAGAN, MFA 2013 FSU/Asolo Conservatory
A Colorado native, Brendan is a founding member of the critically acclaimed Single Carrot Theater in Baltimore, MD. Asolo Repertory credits: You Can’t Take it with You and The Heidi Chronicles, additional credits include: Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Baltimore Shakespeare, CENTERSTAGE, The Waterside Theater. Previously with Ringling College, Brendan appeared in Thicker Than Water by Ellise Pizer. Other film credits include Injoy Productions and JBV Media.
Lindsay Tornquist as
Played by Lindsay Tornquist, SARAH FULLER was the office manager at the startup, and between Simon and John, had her hands full. After winning the lottery, she gave all of her share to a village in Zimbabwe—only to be driven out by its gov-ernment. Before, she a strictly professional relationship with the company‘s part-time accountant, Ernie Hirshberg. Married then but now that he is divorced and broke like her, he looks awfully nice as a husband and father-to-be for her unborn child.
LINDSAY TORNQUIST, MFA 2013 FSU/Asolo Conservatory
From the Midwest, Lindsay earned her BA from Cornell College in Iowa. At FSU/Asolo credits: Cloud Nine, The Robbers, and The Brothers Karamazov. At Asolo Rep she was seen as Essie in You Can't Take It With You and Becky/Betsy in The Heidi Chronicles. She will have her MFA from FSU/Asolo Conservatory this coming April. Her film experience at Ringling College of Art and Design include the "Nacho Award" nominated Born of Crunch directed by Veronica Echeverria.
Francisco Rodriguez as
ERNIE HIRSHBERG, the one-time accountant for the company, discovered after winning his share of the millions, that having one‘s own money is very different than managing someone else‘s. Heading straight to Vegas after the lottery win, it was not long before he gambled and drank all his winnings away, driving his wife away in the process. Back in Sarasota and living in an abandoned freight car, life is good again. But getting re-acquainted with the lovely Sarah, large with child, he‘s starting to imagine there could possibly be much more to life.

From Brownsville, TX. Francisco‘s Asolo Rep credits include: Mr. De Pinna in You Can’t Take it With You, Mr. Lingk in Glengarry Glen Ross, and Banquo in Asolo Rep New Stages Tour of Macbeth. Erin Whitney plays NATASHA (POPOV) BELSON, John‘s Russian mail order bride. Gorgeous as well as driven, John quickly discovered that getting a bride through the mail isn‘t quite like getting a puppy. And Natasha had a mind of her own from the get-go, and has been making his money disappear all the faster. Now in Sarasota, she is flitting from millionaire to millionaire, apparently looking to jump ship. But the truth is far more shocking. And it will all make sense in due time.
